  1. This is a file describing the features I would like to put in SoundShrinker.
  2. These appear in no particular order.
  3.  
  4. 1) Make the save dialog appear after the rate setting dialog.
  5. 2) Support averaging for sound data.
  6. 3) Support 11k to 7k sounds.
  7. 4) Add a "splash screen" that shows on startup.
  8. 5) Add batch convert ability.
  9. 6) Add "find 22k (11k, 7k, 5k) sound files" that searches for those
  10.    resources on the hard drive.
  11. 7) Some sort of file done, here's how much you saved dialog.
  12. 8) Sound play capability!
  13. 9) RE:8 Dialog after playing with "Re-sample, save, save & delete original"
  14.    Maybe make it play the sound before even saving to disk.
  15. A) Add ability to convert 'snd ' resources
  16. B) Background conversion under MultiFinder/System 7?
  17. C) Amplitude modification to maximize volume without "chopping" the sound.
  18.  
  19. Remember, send a postcard (or at least email)!
  20. It's worth the minor effort because it encourages me to develop more.
